About Steel Green

The Steel Green design studio focuses on cutting edge green architecture and land design projects. We are Licensed Architects and LEED Accredited Professionals, and we take a comprehensive whole environment approach to our work. Concentrating on small scale sites, we bring our expertise and passion for contemporary design, along with our skills in the latest modeling and visualization software to bear on even the smallest of details, working in concert with our clients needs and desires to create finely crafted environments.

Our Beginnings

Steel Green was founded in Salt Lake City in 2009 by Molli Kiser, AIA, ASLA, LEED A.P. in a effort to pair great design with practical sustainability for the residential and small scale building market. As a licensed professional architect registered in the state of Utah, with degrees in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Fine Arts, Molli has over 10 years of professional experience working on small to large scale design and construction projects. She is well versed in the full range of architectural design services from conception, project planning, programming and budget development through design visualization, realization and implementation, in addition to successful collaborations with large teams of skilled professionals. Molli approaches design with integrity and careful attention to detail, viewing the built environment as arising from a mutually beneficial and dynamic conversation between structure and the natural world. This mindset is evident in all of her work through the use of sustainable materials and methods and a preference for native plants. Her attention to detail extends from the use of advanced green materials to the application of technologies that allow the design process to be flexible and efficient, yet provide for a high degree of customer interaction. She has a strong dedication to client satisfaction and believes in providing an interactive design experience that results in a fantastic building which works for client, the site, and the surrounding environment.
